Nearly 30% of MN MFTs have already enrolled in Medicare. And all MFTs need to either enroll OR opt out of Medicare. If you missed the MAMFT annual conference, or couldn’t join the session with AAMFT on the subject, here are some resources to help navigate Medicare enrollment.

If you have challenges or questions about Medicare enrollment, we encourage you to contact our partners at AAMFT at familyteam@aamft.org

Some providers received letters from the Minnesota Department of Human Resources (DHS) about enrollment, and the possibility of UCare claims denials starting October 1st. Our friends at Phoenix Credentialing have developed the following blog to provide clarification, and list the steps you can take to be properly enrolled with DHS (and hopefully avoid claims denials!)

Call for Proposals: MAMFT 2025 Virtual Training Series

We are excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Virtual Training Series, designed to provide high-quality professional development opportunities to MFT's and clinicians in Minnesota. We invite you to submit a proposal to lead a training that can enrich the therapeutic community and support your colleagues in their professional growth.

    About the Training Series

Our Virtual Training Series offers live and on-demand workshops throughout the year, covering a variety of topics relevant to mental health professionals. These sessions will provide practical tools, innovative approaches, and current research across different areas of practice, such as child and adolescent therapy, trauma, mindfulness, and more. Whether you're seasoned in presenting or new to leading trainings, this is your chance to share your expertise with an engaged audience of peers.

Check out our current trainings for this year!

    Why Submit a Proposal?

    • Grow your professional network: Presenting gives you a platform to connect with other therapists and establish yourself in your community.
    • Gain exposure: Your workshop will be promoted to a wide audience, showcasing your skills and expertise.
    • Contribute to the field: Share your unique approaches, interventions, and insights that can help others enhance their therapeutic practice.
    • Receive compensation: Presenters will be offered 20% of revenue received from their training.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Diverse topics: We welcome proposals that explore different modalities, populations, and areas of specialization.
    • Interactive elements: Consider how your training can engage participants through discussion, case studies, or live demonstrations.
    • Innovative approaches: If you have fresh ideas or evidence-based techniques that can make an impact, we want to hear from you!

    How to Submit

Please complete the proposal submission form below by November 1st, 2024. We look forward to receiving your ideas and working together to create meaningful learning experiences for our community!

    Submit Your Proposal Here!

Don't miss this opportunity to contribute to the growth of our profession while expanding your own!
