Join the External Affairs Committee!

Would you like to get more involved in MAMFT?  

The External Affairs Committee is responsible for implementing programs that interface with and support the needs of our membership. Their big goals for 2026 are:

• Develop, promote and streamline events for MAMFT members 

• Work to update our communications channels, including the weekly newsletter and classified e-blasts

• Develop more effective outreach programs that increase engagement i.e. higher engagement with educational institutions to increase student membership and participation in collaborative endeavors

• Drive increased partnership with other organizations before, during and after the MAMFT Annual Conference. 

• Increase organizational reach as the coordinating body for the majority of MAMFT's public-facing presence i.e. community service and engagement

• Work to support the organization's premier advocacy goal of pay parity through cooperation with the Advocacy Committee.

External Affairs meets monthly - the third Thursday of each month from 9AM to 10AM.
