Pay What You Can Pre-Affiliate Member Application

Thank you for your interest in MAMFT Pre-Affiliate Membership.

New Members

To apply for a  membership, please complete the application below. 

Pre-Affiliate Members have completed a graduate degree in a recognized mental health field by MAMFT and are in the process of earning the clinical experience necessary for licensure in a mental health field other than MFT. Once you have earned your license in an allied mental health field, you are eligible to transfer to the Affiliate Membership category. Pre-Affiliate Membership may be held with MAMFT for a maximum of 5 years or until full licensure is obtained, whichever comes first.

Pre-Affiliate Membership is not a guarantee of obtaining Affiliate Membership status or state licensure as a mental health professional. Pre-Affiliate Members are responsible for seeking appropriate guidance throughout their training to ensure Affiliate Membership status and/or licensing requirements are met.

Membership Renewals

Renewal invoices will be emailed out annually.  If you'd like to renew early, or make changes to your profile (including annual donation amounts), you can log into your member profile.
