Objectives:
1. Understand the Anatomy and Functions of the ANS: Participants will be able to identify and describe the key components and functions of the autonomic nervous system, including its role in emotional regulation and stress management. 2. Explore Recent Research in Neuromodulation: Attendees will review and summarize recent advancements in neuromodulation techniques and assess their implications for enhancing mental health and overall wellness. 3. Develop Practical Tools for Client Care: Participants will acquire practical skills and interventions designed to help clients recognize, understand, and regulate their physiological responses related to the autonomic nervous system. 4. Fran Bieganek is a Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified in Neurofeedback. She is Co-Founder of Bhakti Brain Health Clinic and has a private psychotherapy practice where she specializes in treating first responders. She is also a retired tenured track Professor of Psychology in the Minnesota State College and Universities System. Fran has over 30 years of experience in the field including neuroimaging and neurotherapy services, clinical psychotherapy services and teaching at the college level.
Guy Odishaw, is a Healthcare Entrepreneur, Bioelectric Medicine Practitioner and a Psychophysiologist. He is a Co-founder of Bhakti Brain Health Clinic, Founder of Bhakti Wellness Center, Co-founder of the first integrative student health clinics in the country at the University of Minnesota, and Co-founder of CerebralFit Brain Training. Guy has over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in treatment resistant chronic pain, traumatic brain injury and psycho-emotional trauma informs his approach to brain health.
