The MAMFT Board is responsible for protecting the profession of Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of Minnesota! We are busy advocating for our field (hello, pay parity!), developing inclusive and accessible branding for our profession, and creating connection and community amongst providers in this often isolated work.

Why become a board member? How does it benefit you to volunteer your time and energy for this?

MAMFT is enriched by the diversity of its membership and strives to maintain a Board of Directors that is representative of its membership and the wide range of contexts in which MFTs work throughout the state. The Board works not only to enhance the professional life of its members, but also to ensure that Marriage and Family Therapy continues to be a viable profession in Minnesota.
