Pre-Clinical Member Application

Thank you for your interest in MAMFT Pre-Clinical Membership for 2022.

New Members

To apply for a  membership, please complete the application below. 

Pre-Clinical Members have completed a graduate degree in marriage and family therapy or a related mental health field and are in the process of earning the clinical experience necessary for licensure as a marriage and family therapist. Once you have the license in marriage and family therapy, you are eligible to transfer to Clinical Membership. Pre-Clinical Membership may be held with MAMFT for a maximum period of 5 years or unless licensure as a marriage and family therapist is achieved, whichever comes first.

Pre-Clinical Membership is not a guarantee of MAMFT Clinical Membership or state licensure as a marriage and family therapist. Members are responsible for seeking appropriate guidance throughout their training to ensure Clinical Membership and/or licensing requirements are met.

Membership Renewals

Renewal invoices will be emailed out annually.  If you'd like to renew early, or make changes to your profile (including annual donation amounts), you can log into your member profile.
