Would you like to offer a training via MAMFT? The options for doing so, include:
– Being a part of MAMFT’s Training Series. With the training series a workshop is offered each month either in person or via a webinar by local therapists/presenters. The in-person workshops take place either in the metro (at Saint Mary’s University) or at a clinic in Greater MN (Alexandria, Duluth, Owatonna and Rochester). Presenters for in-person workshops receive a stipend ($250 for 3 CE hours; $50 for each additional CE hour). If traveling to a Greater MN location, one presenter per workshop receives mileage reimbursement and lodging reimbursement for one-night (up to $120). Webinar presenters receive 20% of the registration fees collected for the webinar. MAMFT staff will advertise the training series workshops, manage registration (including setting the fee) and moderate the webinar platform. Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2020 Training Series. Watch for the Call for Proposals for the 2021 Training Series in fall of 2020.
– Presenting at a MAMFT Conference. The Greater MN Conference takes place every other year, on odd numbered years typically in late spring. Proposals for workshop presentations are accepted around January of the year it is being held. Applications for the Annual Conference are accepted around March the year of the conference. The Annual Conference takes place in early fall. MAMFT is also partnering with MPA to host a Multicultural Conference in late fall of 2020 and will be accepting workshop proposals for that in the early spring of 2020.
