The MAMFT Fall Conference was held on November 10th and 11th at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center. The keynote speaker for this year was Resmaa Menakem, MSW, LICSW, who spoke about the effects of trauma on the body and the community. There were also many esteemed fellow colleagues who shared their knowledge and experience on a broad range of topics at different workshop sessions during the conference. Overall, the turn out was fantastic and we are pleased that the conference was a success! MAMFT hopes to see you at next year’s conference in Spring of 2017!
