Holding Hands: An evening of conversation and learning
The Social Justice Committee is hosting an event! We hope you will join us in May for a discussion about working with vulnerable and diverse communities! We envision it to be kind of like a TED talk, a few licensed individuals will speak briefly about the population they serve, what they have found in their work, and what approach seems to help the population. Afterwards there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion!
Held at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Brother Louis Hall, Room 105

If you are interested in speaking/presenting during this event, The Social Justice Committee is looking for professionals who work with vulnerable and diverse populations! Do you work with a population that is vulnerable and/or diverse? This can run the gamut from families with adoption, disabilities, aging, grief and loss, LGBTQ+, autism diagnoses, poverty, immigration status, the list goes on and on! Would you be willing to talk briefly about your experience with the population (about 15 minutes) and then participate in a round table discussion to answer any questions and continue the conversation that the audience may have? The event is on Thursday May 30, 2019 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Please email the social justice committee to speak at this event! email@example.com We look forward to hearing from you!
